Lately, I've been hearing everyone throwing around the term brand. Oh, my brand this and that and building it blah blah blah, and I even used the word today on my radio show LOL. Well, let me tell you the mighty ∂eƒS❍und has his brand on point. What he creates musically sets a high standard as an emcee and producer, along with his presentation, packaging and image...I know is setting trends. He also has got the coolest merch for sale....maaaannnn do I LOVE unique socks! Super smart. I can just tell he skips to a different beat, and I love that. I love originality that's authentic. There's soooo many people I've come across that put a lot of work into trying to be perceived as out of this world and sooooo different, but they really aren't and it's just awkward. Okay, I'm back I got off topic for a sec...it happens LOL So, yeah he dropped an album today called △nything: thee.idea.machine. that I can't wait to check out in it's entirety, and his camp released a new video called „spuıɯ ˙ɹno ˙uı ˙ ǝɔuɐp„ haaaa exaaaactly my point. You feel me haaaa...on some other for sure. So, the video is called dance.in.our.minds or d.i.o.m directed by Araie Robinson, and the song was produced by Zack Sekoff. He has a plethora of music and videos and stuff online to check out, and be prepared to be impressed. Def Sound will be everywhere soon enough mark my words. Music isn't only about making great records, which he does, but it's alllllll the other stuff that goes into it. Your creativity, your intelligence, your committment, your professionalism, your business flow and the infamous word of the day your BRAND ha! Oh, and real quick what I also appreciate about Def Sound is that you can tell he puts a lot of care and thought into his projects from all the minute details included. It especially, left an impression with me that for a majority of the videos I watched he includes a brief description of where the Music takes him. I get it. I LOVE IT! Lastly, Music should make you feel something whether it be a happy, sad, mad, or goofy. It's supposed to stretch your thoughts, heal your heart, speak that universal language that we all understand and just take you away to another place like a good book. Okay, I've said enough.
