Robert Glasper Experiment brilliantly fuses R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop to give that good, good feeling with "Black Radio Recovered: The Remix EP". The sound created fits in perfectly here at Really Not Radio™because most of the projects on this site cross lines, push limits and can't be placed in a box. I'm not going to say too much about this project, and just let the music speak for itself LOUD and CLEAR.
I was able to catch the Robert Glasper Experiment at Exchange LA earlier this year, and thoroughly enjoyed their live show. They are currently on tour, and will be blessing the Royce Hall stage at UCLA October 25th. Really Not Radio™will be at this show, but they will be in a city near you so check out the tour schedule and get your tickets here. Below you will find my favorite cuts off this project, but please visit the Robert Glasper's website to purchase their music and other cool merch to show your support. We must help keep that real good, feel good music alive! Please enjoy the in-depth conversation Life+Times had with Robert Glasper about the creative process behind this project. Here you go, "The Making of Robert Glasper's Black Radio Recovered: The Remix EP". He invited some great artists to join his efforts to, "make good music that will survive the test of time."
